PDF — Put your documents in order.
PDF metadata
Every “Save as PDF” writes your account name, the app and the time into the document. This takes it out.
- Removes the information dictionary and every XMP packet — on the document, and on each page and image, where most tools never look.
- Takes the GPS and camera serial out of photos embedded in the PDF, losslessly, and the account names off review comments.
- Drops what earlier versions of the file left behind — invisible in a viewer, readable in any text editor.
- Pages aren’t re-rendered: text stays selectable, quality is untouched.
- Batch in, ZIP out.
Everything on this page runs on your device. Nothing you drop here is uploaded.
Questions
- Does it remove tracked changes or hidden text?
- No — it removes metadata, not content. Comments keep their text (only who wrote them and when goes). To take text itself out, use Redact a PDF.
- What about PDF/A?
- An archival PDF keeps its PDF/A (or PDF/UA) claim, alone in a fresh XMP packet, so it stays valid for filing.
- Is my document uploaded?
- No. It’s processed in this page.
